Newman and Zaccagnino of Malkin Properties represent landlord in 32,500 s/f lease to ODMD

Nearly tripling its office space, O'Connor, Davies, Munns, & Dobbins, LLP (ODMD) has extended its lease through 2022 while relocating within 500 Mamaroneck Ave., according to Jeffrey Newman, executive VP of Malkin Properties, the marketing and managing agent for the building.
ODMD will move from its downtown White Plains offices at One Barker Ave. and an 11,000 s/f space on the first floor of 500 Mamaroneck. The firm will now occupy a 32,500 s/f space on 500 Mamaroneck's third floor. This twelve-year extension marks its first renewal since ODMD began tenancy in 2001.
"Because of ODMD's substantial growth in Westchester County over the past decade, the leaders of our firm decided to seek additional space as we approached the end of our lease," said Edward O'Connor, partner at ODMD. "Fortunately, Malkin Properties was very accommodating to our increased s/f requirements, and they made moving into a new space at 500 Mamaroneck a clear and convenient option."

Newman and senior leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino represented the landlord. The tenant was represented by John McCarthy of McCarthy Associates.
500 Mamaroneck Ave. is a five-story, 285,000 s/f, multi-tenanted office building located between the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-95.
The building, comprising dual "center core" pods, subdivides well for multiple users within each pod, with unit size availabilities as small as 1,100 s/f.
In 2002, 500 Mamaroneck received The Office Building of the Year Award (TOBY) from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Westchester County.
This year, the property earned the nationally recognized Energy Star designation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The designation signifies that the property meets strict energy performance standards set by EPA and uses less energy, is less expensive to operate, and causes fewer greenhouse gas emissions than its peers.
