Pasquale-O'Malley named president of CoreNet Global LI

The board of directors of CoreNet Global Long Island named Kathy Pasquale-O'Malley to serve for the next two years as president of its chapter. The director of business development and marketing at JRS Architect, P.C., she will lead the local chapter's efforts to advance the profession, connect people and provide industry resources. The move makes Pasquale-O'Malley the only woman currently serving as president of a major Long Island real estate organization. "While we focus on Long Island, our work also integrates with a global organization of thousands of people. I am honored to work with such a prestigous board to employ innovative programs that recruit and educate corporate real estate executives who share our mission and its importance to the needs of the region," said Pasquale-O'Malley, who has been part of the Long Island business community for more than 30 years. Pasquale-O'Malley has been on the chapter's board for four years most recently serving as first vice president and is also the event chair for the association's annual charitable golf outing. Chapter offerings include conversations with Long Island's leading economists, panels and seminars with industry experts, ongoing learning workshops, evening networking events and charitable/holiday events. Programs are open to all in the business community.
