Pyramid Brokerage Company completes three sales transactions totaling $764,500
September 27, 2010 - Brokerage
Three separate businesses are moving into the three buildings that formerly housed DM Business Products at Powers Rd. and Progress Parkway. The sale of the three properties this summer was announced by Pyramid Brokerage Company in Binghamton, whose agents brokered the transactions.
The smallest of the three buildings, a 20,000 s/f warehouse on Powers Rd., was sold for $100,000 to Wayne's Welding, Inc., headquartered near Utica. The company specializes in custom welding and fabrication and repairs heavy equipment and road maintenance trucks.
A 35,000 s/f industrial and office facility also on Powers Rd. was purchased for $327,000 in June and is now occupied by
GEARCOR, an internet-based distributor of protective footwear and other personal protective gear. The move has enabled the growing company to consolidate its operations from multiple locations and facilitate accelerated growth.
Mity Forms, a division of Conklin-based Cleaner's Supply, is the new occupant of a 38,000 s/f warehouse and manufacturing facility of Progress Parkway sold for $337,500. The printing operations of Mity Forms will be moving to the new location from the nearby Powers Road location of Cleaner's Supply. The move will provide room to grow for both the printing and distribution operations of the company.
