According to Royal Properties, it has completed the following transactions:
Alto Music has signed a lease at Colonial Sq., at 329 Rte. 59. Alto Music signed a five-year lease with two five-year options for 5,617 s/f. Scott Meshil of Royal Properties represented both the tenant and the landlord.
Alto Music operates five music stores throughout New York including this store which was relocated from Monsey after 42 years at its previous location. They have one of the largest selections, fastest service and best prices on guitars, pro audio, percussion, keyboards, live sound, DJ equipment and band & orchestra instruments. Alto Music was voted the best music store in the U.S. by Music & Sound Retailer, the magazine for musical instrument and sound project merchandisers.
John Williams, Sr., vice president at Royal Properties, is responsible for three recent transactions:
* Rainbow Shops has taken 10,000 s/f at 44. S. Fourth Ave. in Mount Vernon.
Rainbow Shops is a national chain with over 1,000 stores selling women's and children's clothing. S. Fourth Avenue is the home of many national and local merchants including Footlocker, Payless, Fabco and Jimmy Jazz.
* A new 1,600 s/f Dunkin' Donuts is under construction on Lincoln Ave. at the entrance to the Hutchinson Pwy. in Pelham.
* Secret Training has taken over a former 1,500 s/f Curves location on Sixth St. in the Village of Pelham. John Williams represented both landlord and tenants in each of these transactions.
Retro Fitness has signed a lease for 15,582 s/f at 272 Main St. in New City. Meshil and Jason Daniels of Royal Properties represented the landlord, WW South Main, LLC.
"After marketing this space for six months, we felt like Retro Fitness was the best fit to co-anchor this center with CVS."
According to the leasing team of David Landes and Craig Benson of Royal Properties, Inc., Retro Fitness has also leased 8,000 s/f at 66 Main St. in downtown Yonkers. Retro's space is located at the base of an 8-story residential building, built in 2008. Additionally, the team at Royal has recently signed a lease with Wholesome Goodness Market & Café, which leased 2,400 s/f and is scheduled to open at 66 Main St. in the fall.
