With the current economical situation Hydro Tech understands that investigating and remediating contaminated properties may be the last thing on your mind. However, with programs such as the New York City's Local Brownfield Cleanup Program (LBCP) and the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program environmental work can become more cost efficient.
The LBCP is a program recently opened by the mayor's Office of Environmental Remediation (OER) for the development of low to moderately contaminated sites located throughout New York City. Financial incentives up to $125,000 are provided in the form of grants for investigation and/or remediation activities. If your site contains contaminated fill material or even levels of petroleum from a gasoline or fuel oil release it will likely qualify for this program. Hydro Tech is a qualified vendor for the LBCP and can assist you in receiving grants.
Hydro Tech has also recently completed the Track 1 Remediation of a State Brownfield Project, where our client received millions of dollars in tax credits. The state brownfield program is geared towards properties that contain elevated levels of contamination including petroleum and hazardous waste. The incentives are based upon the total development cost.
With over 20 years of technical and consulting experience, Hydro Tech Environmental's team of hydrogeologists, geologists, professional engineers, and environmental scientists maintain comprehensive and current certifications that span all environmental areas. We will save you time and money on your next environmental investigation and remediation since all work is performed in house using our own staff and field equipment. We look forward to working with you on your next project.
