Szabo of Goldschmidt & Associates brokers seven retail deals: 17,000 s/f

According to Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner at Goldschmidt & Associates, David Szabo, has recently brokered seven area retail deals totaling 19,000 s/f and an aggregate rental of more than $4.15 million. FedEx Office leased 5,330 s/f at 137 East Post Rd. for a long term lease. Adjacent to a municipal parking lot, this was a relocation one block away from FedEx's former store. Dean Rosenswieg of CB Richard Ellis represented FedEx. Sherwin Williams leased 3,743 s/f at 454 Whalley Ave., New Haven, Conn. Szabo also brokered the Sherwin Williams transaction in Mt. Kisco in 2009. 7 Eleven leased 2,277 s/f at 167 Martine Ave., at the former Bagel Emporium site across from Macy's and the Westchester County Office Building. Steven Sanders represented 7 Eleven. LaDentelliere, a gift store, leased 1,410 s/f at 65 Pondfield Rd., Bronxville. Jon Gordon of Admiral Realty represented the landlord. Extreme Archery leased 3,500 s/f at 801 Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. White Mountain Spa leased 1,340 s/f at 234 East Post Rd., White Plains. Fern Wagner, of Goldschmidt & Associates represented the tenant. Subway leased 1,400 s/f at 288 North Main St., Spring Valley. David Landes of Royal Properties represented the tenant. Though the market still appears soft, the Goldschmidt & Associate agents have been very active and are confident that many more deals will close in the second half of 2010.
