August 11, 2010 - Brokerage
Sholom & Zuckerbrot Realty (S&Z) has negotiated a long-term office lease for LIC Sweater, Inc. at 42-24 Orchard St., according to Sanford Zuckerbrot, chairman of S&Z. The garment manufacturer is set to take occupancy in the 11,000 s/f space on September 1.
"We're beyond happy to lease this centrally located space to a successful American garment manufacturer," said Joe Eliasoph, who brokered the deal along with Jason Auffarth for S&Z, which is also the exclusive agent for 42-24 Orchard St.
"We feel that this is an ideal space to accommodate LIC Sweater's 60 employees. Finding the perfect place for a top-tier client has always been an important priority of S&Z." Mr. Eliasoph and Mr. Auffarth represented both the building owner and the tenant in the deal.
The completely rehabilitated space on the ground floor features a 13' ceiling, new offices and bathrooms, 400 amps, and direct ground floor loading, and provides easy access to both local subway stops and the Queensboro Bridge.
