AKF Group names Mulkerrin, Dyer and Teng as full partners

AKF Group has named the following three professionals as full partners of the firm:
* Brian Mulkerrin, PE, AKF Boston, Mass., who oversees the day-to-day operation of the Boston office, has spent the majority of his career in the building engineering and construction markets, with over 15 years specifically in the electrical engineering consulting field. In addition to his active membership on AKF's National Healthcare Team, Mulkerrin is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), an associate member of The American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and an Affiliate member of the Boston Society of Architects/AIA (BSA).
* Dennis Dyer, PE, LEED-AP, AKF Boston, Mass., leads the firm's National Marketing Initiative in the Healthcare and Science and Technology sectors. Dyer has 30 years of experience in the design of heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, energy conservation analysis and master plan/feasibility studies. He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), an Associate member of American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), Affiliate member of the Boston Society of Architects/AIA (BSA) and a member of Northeastern University Scholarship Review committee. He also serves on the Dean's Technical advisory board at Northeastern University and is the A/E construction industry outreach coordinator for a collaborative educational program between Northeastern University and Boston.
* Dave Teng, PE, LEED AP, AKF New York has 17 years of electrical systems design experience, which includes electrical distribution and generator power systems. His expertise has been applied to high voltage engineering, central utility plants and utility transformer networks in major infrastructure projects. Teng is registered as a professional engineer in N.Y., N.J. and Virginia. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is a LEED 2.0 accredited professional. He joined AKF in 2001 and has since collaborated on the design of many buildings incorporating innovative sustainable features.
