David Bradley named Volunteer of Distinction by LI Appraisal Institute

According to the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, David Bradley, MAI, SRA, a member of the Long Island Chapter, has been named an Appraisal Institute "Volunteer of Distinction" for June. The Appraisal Institute's member recognition program honors one member in good standing per region each month for their service to the organization, the profession and their community. Bradley has been involved in the real estate profession for nearly 40 years and has been a member of the Appraisal Institute for more than 37 years. His service to the Appraisal Institute includes serving as the Long Island Chapter President and as the chair of its Professional Practice Committee. He has twice been recognized by the chapter for his outstanding service to his profession and community. In 1993, he received the Long Island Chapter Recognition Award and in 2009 was honored with the Long Island Chapter's Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also a past recipient of the Armstrong Award, awarded annually by The Appraisal Journal to the author of that year's best original article. He holds a degree in aeronautical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his SRA and MAI designations in 1976 and 1978, respectively.
