July 27, 2010 - Brokerage
According to Carlton Group chairman Howard Michaels, the firm has officially launched its new blog as well as a comprehensive social media initiative which includes a corporate presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. "We decided to produce this blog and integrate a social media platform so that we can develop better personal contact with our investors, clients and real estate professionals who are seeking input, advice and information with respect to current market factors which are affecting the real estate and finance markets," said Michaels. "We hope to provide our clients with the information and access to the capital markets that they need in order to take advantage of tremendous opportunities to acquire discounted loans and REO assets from highly motivated financial institutions." Michaels said, "Today, times are volatile which makes it more challenging to invest and to access capital. Consequently, this volatility and distress breeds opportunity for the well informed and experienced investor who is well capitalized." Implementation of The Carlton Blog and social media platforms were executed internally by the firm's marketing and technology departments.
