Business relationships cultivated through BMAR are priceless

July 14, 2010 - Brokerage
By Nunzio Del Greco, RCE It is a consistent statement made by many active and successful members of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors, (BMAR). The honorees mentioned it in their acceptance comments at the 75th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing: the value of the business relationships cultivated through BMAR is priceless. Many members have made hundreds of thousands of dollars in new business. In today's market and economic conditions, it's very important to leave no stone unturned for generating new business and servicing existing customers. We are finalizing our 2010-2011 Membership & Referral Directory. Being listed in the Directory's Membership Roster is an investment to grow your business. Even one business referral or new business contact more than pays for the advertisement and annual membership dues. Be sure your contact information and or your company advertisement is included in the 2010-2011 Membership & Referral Directory. Confirm by contacting Janine Schall at (212) 242-4343; (718) 892-3000 or email: [email protected]. Your Fraternal Organization for Business and Real Estate Our 85th Annual Banquet was another huge networking events as reported in the New York Real Estate Journal and other publications. There were many distinguished guests including mayor Michael Bloomberg and governor David Paterson. In addition to the main award recipients honored at the banquet, member awards were presented. I'd like to bring to your attention an unsolicited letter printed as a Gold Page in the Banquet Journal and paid by one of our 40 year members, Murray Stark of Stark Management: Dear Fellow Members, "Fraternal" is defined as a society associated in brotherly union for mutual benefit or aid. This single word truly expresses the helpful, valuable support and guidance that I received during my 40 year association with the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors. From the time I was first initiated, the members of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors through their shared experiences provided assistance, support, networking, and guidance. I sincerely believe that to a great measure my affiliation with this unique organization played a comprehensive role in my attaining success in the demanding, real estate sphere. Words cannot express my earnest pride and appreciation in having been a member of this unequaled fraternity, these four decades, for which I sincerely and with heartfelt gratitude "thank you all!" Sincerely, Murray Stark What makes this letter very special is that it was an unsolicited testimonial and personal insight from an active member for over 40 years into this terrific organization for business and the real estate industry. Thank you, Murray. BMAR has a rich history with an extraordinary culture of inclusiveness, camaraderie, successful and dynamic business professionals. This fact is very evident since many of our members are 3rd or 4th generation of active companies in the organization. Founded in 1924, BMAR is the local chapter for the New York State Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors with active members throughout the Greater New York metropolitan region. Companies do not need an office in Manhattan or the Bronx to be active members of the association. BMAR membership includes real estate industry and the business community professionals: licensed real estate brokers and agents; multi-dwelling property owners; building service vendors and suppliers; unlicensed property managers; attorneys; appraisers; banks; mortgage companies; fuel service and energy companies; title and abstract companies; insurance companies and insurance brokers; contractors and other companies servicing the real estate industry and business community.
