* Bill Anninos, of CB Richard Ellis/Syracuse, in cooperation with CB Richard Ellis/Cincinnati, represented Cintas in the lease of 28,800 s/f of commercial space at 7635 Edgecomb Drive, Liverpool. This was a relocation for Cintas from Thompson Rd., Syracuse to the larger, more efficient space. Cintas is a supplier of uniforms, cleanroom apparel and products, first aid necessities, and facility services. The Anderson Company represented the landlord.
* Marty Dowd and Peter Finn, CB Richard Ellis executive vice president, facilitated the sale of the Olbiston Apartments, 1431 Genesee St., Utica. The property is a century-old, 151-unit low-income apartment building on 2 acres. An investor purchased the bank-controlled property, which remains 80% occupied.
* Marty Dowd and David Thomas exclusively brokered the $450,000 sale of 242-262 W. Dominick St., Rome to an investor from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The 12,708 s/f retail/office property is fully occupied by four tenants: Human Technologies Corporation, Sugared Plum Ovens Bakery, Boys from Italy Pizza and Anthony's Antiques.
* David Thomas and Mark Rupprecht, CCIM, exclusively brokered the $185,000 sale of 69 Chestnut St., Phoenix to Mark Blowers, president of The Effect Group, a full service commercial flooring dealer. The company is based on Erie Blvd., Syracuse, and will use the 23,000 s/f Chestnut Street building for inventory and warehousing. Following renovations, Blowers will have the Phoenix facility in operation by late summer. The property was the former machine tooling facility for Oneida Molded Plastics.
Chestnut Street is the second of two properties that Thomas and Rupprecht have sold for Oneida Molded Plastics, the first being a 20,000 s/f facility located in the Oswego County Industrial Park. The facility at 20 County Route 59, Phoenix, was sold for $395,000 in the fall of 2009 to Otis Technologies, a gun care systems provider, which is using the space for research and development.
