Marilyn Price, a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, has been named, for the third time, as one of Long Island's Top 50 Women by Long Island Business News. Price has 31 years of experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions. She represents lenders on commercial mortgages, developers on all aspects of property development, and landlords and tenants on lease transactions and individual buyers and sellers of homes. In residential matters, Price's expertise is relied upon in the areas of new construction, cooperative apartments, condominiums and homeowner associations. She holds degrees from Cornell University and the Hofstra University School of Law and maintains ties to both her alma maters. For the past five years, she has volunteered as a mentor in the Lawyers Involved in Kids' Education program. The March of Dimes named Price as one of its Women of Distinction in 2001. During her career, she has chaired committees that raised thousands of dollars for The Cooley's Anemia Foundation and the Five Towns Community Chest, Peninsula Counseling Center and Women's American ORT and was active in the Long Island Chapter of the International association of the Corporate Real Estate Executives (CoreNet) and the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI). Most recently, she served on the American Heart Association committee for their "Go Red for Women" luncheon. Price was elected to the first board of the Villages West Homeowner's Association three years ago, and continues to serve this new community where she resides with her husband, Michael.
