Tobin of EYP named director of architecture

John Tobin, RA, LEED AP, has been promoted to director of architecture at EYP Architecture & Engineering. He is responsible for architecture firm wide, with an emphasis on adapting new technologies into the delivery process in order to provide clients with high quality, efficient design projects. Previously, he served as EYP's technical director and director of building information technology. EYP VP of operations John Pocorobba, AIA, LEED AP, said, "John's comprehensive technology roots started in academia in the 1990s and continue to manifest themselves in practical applications on real world projects over the past 10 years. This combination of technology expertise and architectural building experience is the perfect combination to accelerate EYP's agenda to deliver expertise-driven design using advanced BIM applications." He said, "His unique experience and innovative approach will continue to benefit our firm as he leads us through successful projects." Tobin earned a bachelor of arts degree in Architecture from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and a master of arts degree in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
