Message from 2010 president of the LI Appraisal Institute

Welcome to the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Since being founded in 1970, The Long Island Chapter has been one of the leading Chapters in the 22,000 member Appraisal Institute. I'd like to take this opportunity to urge all users of appraisal services to continue their support of Appraisal Institute Members and Associates by utilizing the vast wealth of knowledge and experience that our Chapter members possess. Our members provide a wide variety of valuation and consulting services, and represent some of the most experienced, educated and talented real estate professionals practicing in the Long Island and Metropolitan New York regions. Our members benefit from an array of professional education and advocacy programs and our designated Members are recognized for having extensive training, education and experience. The Long Island Chapter offers dynamic speakers at our dinner meetings, and will be hosting our annual golf outing June 15 at the Lido Golf Club. The Chapter is also hosting a variety of educational seminars and courses in the coming months and information and online registration is available at our website: www.liappraisal.com. It is my pleasure, as well as my honor to have been selected by my peers to serve as the 2010 president of the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
