Non-profit real estate broker Suzanne Sunshine will be honored by Baruch College, along with her mother, Louise Sunshine. They will both receive the "Bernard Baruch Medal for Business and Civic Leadership" at the 21st Annual Bernard Baruch Dinner, held Tuesday, April 27, at Cipriani 42nd St., to benefit the Baruch College Fund.
Suzanne and Louise Sunshine are to receive this medal in a ceremony for Baruch College. This year marks the first time in college's history that all of its dinner honorees are women. Rounding out the list are Dolly Lenz (Prudential Douglas Elliman), Sylvia Smith (FXFOWLE), and Doris Koo (Enterprise Community Partners).
"My mother and I are thrilled to be receiving such a prestigious and notable honor, and to be recognized by Baruch College is a great privilege," said Suzanne Sunshine, president of S. Sunshine & Associates, whose non-profit clients occupy more than 150,000 s/f of city real estate. "This award comes at an especially exciting time for me, as I launched my own firm last year. It also further testament to the high-quality service my mother and I continue to provide the nonprofit industry."
