Newman and Zaccagnino of Malkin Properties broker 8,133 s/f lease

April 12, 2010 - Brokerage
Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC has extended its lease and expanded its space for the second time in three years at Ten Bank St., according to Jeffrey Newman, executive VP of Malkin Properties, the marketing and managing agent for the building. The tenant, which first moved into the building in July 2007, will now occupy a total of 8,133 s/f. Malkin Construction will build out the expansion space for the new tenant. Newman and senior leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino represented the landlord in this transaction. The tenant represented itself. "Our White Plains office has grown quickly to include eight attorneys, and we need space to allow for future expansion as well," said James Parks, executive director at Eckert Seamans. "We've enjoyed working with Malkin Properties, whose management has been very accommodating, and the location provides both easy access to Manhattan and a link between our Boston and Philadelphia offices, so we didn't even consider looking elsewhere." "Malkin Properties is known for its flexibility in working to accommodate tenant needs," said Newman. "Tenants recognize this, and during times of growth they often choose to expand at one of our trophy office buildings. We are happy to once again work with Eckert Seamans in expanding and extending its space at Ten Bank St."
