Lemanski of MWE serves as panelist at TMA event

John Lemanski, MBA, CFE, senior manager in the litigation consulting, valuation and bankruptcy services practice group at Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP, a leading certified public accounting and business advisory firm (MWE, New York, N.Y. and Garden City, N.Y.), recently served as a panelist in an event sponsored by the New Jersey Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). The educational and networking event, titled "Enron: The Rise, The Fall and The Aftermath," was held on March 6 at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business and was attended by business professionals and Seton Hall students. Lemanski was tapped for his expertise in business valuations, forensic accounting and bankruptcy and insolvency provided on behalf of legal professionals, corporate executives, financial services, debtors, creditors and secured lenders. He was joined on the panel by other Tri-State area executives and professionals including Jerry Buccino, chairman and CEO of Buccino & Associates, Inc., Peter Feldman, senior marketing officer of Acorn Capital Group, and Leo Zatta, CPA, CFE of Wiss & Company, LLP. Moderating the panel was Nick Jalowski, CTP, CMC of Cambridge Financial Services, LLC. Lemanski is very active on the speaker circuit. Among his recent engagements was an address on "Forensic Accounting and Finding Fraud in Real Estate Engagements" for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants' (NYSSCPA) Technical Meeting sponsored by its Real Estate Committee and a presentation on "Valuation Issues" for the 2007 Long Island Tax Practitioner Symposium. Additionally, his speaking credentials include presentations for numerous business and professional associations, as well as featured speaker roles such as a prior engagement for The Foundation for Accounting Education Healthcare Conference. Lemanski is a member in good standing of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (for which he serves as president of the Long Island Chapter), the Turnaround Management Association (for which he serves as executive vice president of the Long Island Chapter), the Association for Corporate Growth and The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
