Kremer of Ruskin Moscou elected emeritus chair of Young Peoples' Chorus

The Young People's Chorus of New York City, has elected Arthur Kremer as chairman emeritus in recognition of his ten years of service in the role of chairman. Kremer, a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, became chair of the organization during its earliest years helping it grow from a small organization to a world-recognized choral group and an annual budget exceeding $2 million. "I am proud of the success of the Young Peoples Chorus of New York City which has grown from its small local presence to international acclaim," said Kremer. "At this very moment our chorus members are in Beijing representing North America in a large number of musical presentations. We have grown from 200 youngsters to over 1,000, plus we host ten programs in the New York City public schools. I am honored to have been a part of the incredible story that has made this group a world famous organization." Kremer, a former New York State Assemblyman who served for 23 years in Albany, was chairman of the Ways and Means Committee for 12 years and held many other positions by appointment of the governor. Kremer's commentary on politics appears in many newspapers and he has been a News 12 political analyst for the past 18 years.
