Buono of Island Assocs. Real Estate and Kaleck of Ramsay Realty sell 99 John St. for $2.15 million

Babylon, NY Richie Buono of Island Associates Real Estate, along with Ed Kaleck of Ramsay Realty, brokered the sale of 99 John St. for $2.15 million, with Buono representing the purchaser, VCR Storage Inc.

The property was purchased to develop a 44,000 s/f self-storage facility located off the Babylon-Northport Expwy. (NYS Rte. 231) on the south side of Long Island. The building had been used by Babylon Plumbing & Heating Supply Corp. for almost 90 years. The seller decided to consolidate locations to the Central Islip warehouse and showroom.

The seller provided financing in order to close the transaction due to the conditions of the existing structures being outdated and in need of removal. The developer expects to start construction in the spring of 2027.
