Glacier Equities and Intervest Capital commence closings at 720 West End Ave.

Manhattan, NY Closings have commenced at 720 West End Ave., the new luxury condominium that transforms a 1927 Emery Roth-designed pre-war building into a residential address in a landmarked area of the Upper West Side. Developed through a collaboration between Glacier Equities and InterVest Capital Partners, the building has been reimagined by designer Thomas Juul-Hansen and now features 131 designed residences and a suite of modern amenities. BP Architects restored 720 West End Ave.’s original Renaissance Revival-style framework, preserving its timeless grandeur. 

As one of the top-selling buildings in thte city, 720 West End Ave. has had sales success, resulting in over 40 signed contracts, and is now offering immediate occupancy. 

The building’s 131 residences offer a mix of one- to five-bedroom homes, including a collection of townhouse duplexes, and simplex and duplex penthouses with private terraces, all with layouts ranging from 600 s/f to over 3,700 s/f. Many higher-floor residences offer views of the nearby Hudson River and city skyline. Juul-Hansen’s interiors strike a balance between pre-war and contemporary design, with integrated lighting, bespoke architectural details and open layouts. Residences feature continuous wide plank white oak flooring, custom Boffi kitchens with Namibia Rose marble countertops and backsplashes, fluted glass cabinetry and premium appliances by Sub-Zero and Wolf. The spa-like primary baths showcase honed Volakas marble, Waterworks polished-chrome fixtures, a Toto wall-mounted toilet and radiant heated floors.
