Frank G. Relf Architect completes renovation of Artful Dodger Lounge

The Artful Dodger recently re-opened in Huntington after a year of thoughtful and creative work by owner Mike Conforti and the design team of Frank Relf of Frank G. Relf Architect, P.C., and Beth Donner of Beth Donner Designs. The Dodger's classy, upscale lounge offers adult crowds a dazzling new and illuminating experience. Long Islanders find the Artful Dodger a relaxing and ideal venue for socializing with friends or meeting new ones. The atmosphere makes patrons feel as if they had been transported to a trendy Manhattan nightspot. "It took teamwork to develop the concept for the property that would bring something truly new and different to the Village of Huntington. Beth and Frank came up with the ideas that helped make the new Artful Dodger materialize. As the plan for the lounge emerged, we chose to incorporate a variety of artwork into the overall design. The look that has been created is strikingly impressive and our patrons continue to comment about it. I liked the idea of the 'tattoo' art theme and the innovative use of colorful and creative lighting effects. One of the most exciting aspects of the design phase was the clever development of the concept to use glass garage doors. These doors can be opened to create more space and a free flowing atmosphere. This design guides people into the space and prepares them for an enjoyable experience. I am pleased the way the entire design scheme came together and now everybody is talking about it," said Conforti. The newly renovated Artful Dodger is located at 30 New St. in Huntington Village.
