Finn, Dowd and Champ of CBRE|Syracuse broker sale of BJ’s and Staples Plaza–147,456 s/f

Fayetteville, NY According to Michael Finn, managing partner of CBRE|Syracuse, the firm has completed the following:

Marty Dowd and Ed Kiesa, CCIM, represented the buyer, Friendly Auto Group, in the $1.2 million sale of 534 East Genesee St. Friendly Auto Group, a multi-dealership group based in Poughkeepsie, acquired the site of the 30,000 s/f former Jay’s Village Chevrolet. The property consists of 3.89 acres and 429 ft. of high-traffic frontage on East Genesee St. The buyer anticipates opening a Honda dealership on the site in the summer of 2019.

 

 

Peter Finn, executive vice president, and Dowd, senior broker, of CBRE|Syracuse, and Sterling Champ, executive vice president, of CBRE|Los Angeles, CA, represented the seller, Inland Real Estate Investment Corp., in the investment sale of BJ’s and Staples Plaza at 2 Chevy Dr., East Syracuse. All tenants will remain under long-term leases in the 147,456 s/f shopping center, which sits on 15.41 acres. The buyer was Carlton Holdings Group, LLC, a Manhattan investment firm.
