DeTrano joins Wurk Environments, LLC

According to Wurk Environments, LLC, a leading provider of upscale, flexible professional environments, Joseph DeTrano has joined the firm as vice president of sales and business development. DeTrano, who has been at the forefront of the real estate industry for over 15 years, will use his extensive experience in operational management, corporate real estate outsourcing and global sales to oversee leasing activities for Wurk's professional environments (Wurksites) worldwide. "I'm thrilled to have joined a venture whose business model and philosophy are groundbreaking in the executive suites industry," said DeTrano. "Unlike traditional office business centers, Wurk offers impeccably crafted, state-of-the-art professional environments, highly flexible lease terms and robust infrastructure." DeTrano is currently managing the leasing of Wurk-Times Square, the company's flagship, which opens on January 1. "We are seeing tremendous interest from Fortune 1000 companies and start-up ventures alike," DeTrano says of Wurk's 65,000 s/f at 1515 Broadway, the iconic 54-story, 2+ million s/f tower situated in the heart of Times Square. "Given the economic climate, businesses are critically evaluating their long- term real estate strategies and increasingly moving towards more flexible platforms."
