Crystal Windows’ New York flagship production facility in Queens at full operation

Queens, NY As the New York metropolitan region recovers and reopens due to the Coronavirus pandemic, national manufacturer Crystal Window & Door Systems celebrated its flagship production facility in the city is fully operational and able to provide all services. Regarding employees, customers, vendors, and others entering the facility, the company continues to follow all CDC, NYS Health Department, and OSHA guidelines.

“Our 25 product lines and our support services in New York are available for our trade customers, including quotations, order execution, counter sales, production, shipping, delivery, order pick up, engineering and design, and technical consultation,” said Crystal president Steve Chen. “Like all manufacturers, we have had a few issues with supply chains which impacted production.  However, these are being resolved and for the most part our suppliers have done a great job.  So, moving ahead, we are ready to provide everything our trade customers, design and construction professionals, and the real estate community need for their fenestration projects.”

Crystals’ other national manufacturing locations in Chicago (IL), Riverside (CA), Scranton (PA), and Union (MO), are also at full operation.  All Crystal production facilities are essential businesses and have been providing windows and doors for healthcare facilities, emergency projects, affordable housing, government buildings, and other essential business projects throughout the pandemic.

The entire New York-New Jersey-Connecticut metro region was hit extremely hard by the virus, and Crystal’s New York team efficiently managed the many trials presented by the ever-changing situation.

“It was a very difficult time here in New York, but we rose to the challenge,” said Chen.  “Combined with Crystal’s national production capabilities we were able to adjust and continue to manufacture products throughout the crisis.  As all construction projects restart and planned projects move forward, we want our trade customers and others in the design, construction, and property management fields to know we are available for quotations, consultation, and to take and produce orders.”
