CresaPartners has arranged for The Malcolm Group, an apparel manufacturer, to sublease a portion of its office space at 1412 Broadway in the Times Sq. district.
Los Angeles-based Malcolm Group will yield the 12,915 s/f 24th floor to fashion company BK, Inc., while retaining 5,307 s/f on the 23rd floor. Both companies will retain these spaces until late 2021.
In addition to Halpern, Bob Stella, principal and executive vice president of CresaPartners, represented The Malcolm Group. BK, Inc. was represented in the transaction by Steve Chasnoff of Colliers International.
"BK was looking for quality, affordable office space in the Times Square area just as The Malcolm Group was looking to scale back," says Justin Halpern, associate at CresaPartners, who represented The Malcolm Group. "We're glad to have been able to help both tenants achieve their respective goals."
