Cohen & Perfetto on "Super Lawyers" list for 3rd year running by New York Super Lawyers magazine

Marshall Cohen and Louis Perfetto, founding partners of real estate law firm Cohen & Perfetto LLP, have been named by New York Super Lawyers magazine as two of the top attorneys in New York for 2009. This is the third consecutive year that Cohen and Perfetto have been named. The annual list is a competitive review of attorneys in 60 practice areas and was distributed in October as a supplement to the Sunday New York Times Magazine. The list includes the top five percent of attorneys in the New York metropolitan area, as determined through a rigorous multi-phase selection process by the publishers of Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minn. Cohen and Perfetto specialize in all areas of commercial real estate law, including land use, zoning, banking law, work outs and government incentives. They are both distinguished in the industry for the handling of large-scale acquisition and commercial development deals, many of which involve complex legal issues such as the sale of air rights, 1031 exchanges and zoning issues. Founded in 2005, the firm offers clients partner-level service more common to smaller firms, while retaining the quality and capabilities of a much larger firm.
