I was also elected as Chairman of the Apartments Owners Advisory Council of Westchester County (AOAC). As Chair I represent over 300 landlords and 30,000 units in our County and I see this as my greatest accomplishment. What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? : Our most notable transaction in 2012 was the acquisition of 140 units in the Bronx, NY. As owners we expanded our portfolio into the Bronx for the first time and as property managers we doubled our NYC management portfolio. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2013? : I expect much of the same in 2013 as we saw in 2012. Investors will continue to be conservative with their investments but also be looking to take advantage of historical low interest rates. What are your resolutions for 2013? : Milio Realty is looking forward to expanding our 3rd party management portfolio. Our goal is to be able to offer more competitive vendor rates to our clients, increase streams of income and ultimately create value for every managed property.
