There are insurance coverage issues which need to be sorted out; landlord tenant issues with old landlords and new ones; business interruption issues and general business questions.I also won a couple of trials involving owners and contractors. What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? : I helped a co-op building negotiate and obtain substantial concessions and money from a developer who needed an Access Agreement with them in order to move forward with a construction project. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2013? : I enjoy reviewing and negotiating leases and renovation and construction contracts for clients and it is interesting to see where businesses have been moving. There is a shift in concentrations of certain kinds of businesses into different parts of New York City. What are your resolutions for 2013? : I have been giving seminars on legal aspects of construction and renovation, as well as concerning co-op and condo law. I plan to do even more.
