Blakeley-Glover, DiRosa and Cossetti join VVA

VVA has hired three new employees in their New York headquarter office. Lex Blakeley-Glover is an associate project manager with the firm and has international project management, construction and real estate consultancy experience. Louis DiRosa is also an associate project manager, with specialty project management experience in design, contracting, plumbing and HVAC. KellyAnn Cossetti has joined as an administrative assistant with the firm, responsible for proposals, business development and administrative assistance. Her experience includes executive support, accounting, and technical assistance as well as marketing coordination in the construction and insurance industries. "My partners and I at VVA are excited about the expansion of our firm and bringing this great new talent on board," said Marc Chiapperino, managing director of VVA. "We believe the track records of Lex, Louis and Kelly speak for themselves and they will be important additionsto the growth and future of our team." Blakeley-Glover, a UK native who worked there for several years before coming to the U.S., previously worked for EC Harris LLP, a London-based international built asset consultancy providing multidisciplinary services in developing, investing in, owning and operating built assets. There, he was responsible for leading and managing project teams and developing new personnel. Most recently, he oversaw technical advisory and construction monitoring services on behalf of Barclays Bank for the construction of a $190 million flagship hotel in Central London. Lex also recently participated in the London Olympic Triathalon and a relay swim across the English Channel. DiRosa, a N.Y. native, recently returned from Jacksonville, Fla. where he worked for Delta Fountains, a leading architectural and decorative fountains company. There he provided project management support for the National September 11th World Trade Center Memorial project. His responsibilities included planning and delegating daily punch lists, review of submittals, specifications, change orders and RFIs, electrical panel wiring, troubleshooting, and working with the design team to review and update drawings. Louis developed an integral spreadsheet tracking system for all parts, programming and applications used in the National September 11th World Trade Center Memorial project. Cossetti, a native of New Jersey, was most recently executive assistant to the principals of a major NY-based general contracting company. In addition to her executive assistant responsibilities, she created all proposal materials for the company. Earlier in her career she was a senior technical assistant and then broker assistant at Stewart Smith , an insurance company.
