Arizona Beverage Company opens new headquarters in Woodbury

Nassau County executive Thomas Suozzi and Joseph Giono, executive director of the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), joined executives of the Arizona Beverage Co. at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the company's new corporate headquarters, built through a successful public-private partnership. Suozzi and Giono joined Arizona Beverage founder and chairman Don Vultaggio and chief executive David Menashi on October 29 to open the recently completed 100,000 s/f Arizona Beverage corporate headquarters, which was constructed with financial assistance from the IDA on 6 acres at 60 Crossways Park Dr. "This shows we can do business in Nassau County. This new Arizona office will send a positive message to the local and national business community that Nassau County is a good place for businesses," Suozzi added. "With the help of the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency, we were able to keep Arizona Beverage here in Nassau and we are confident that Arizona staying here will help us to attract other nationally known companies to our county." The new $35-million, energy-efficient building features a unique state-of-the-art heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system, highly energy efficient windows to control sunlight and heat, and a roof garden to reduce water runoff and assist in cooling the structure. The interiors are decorated with colors inspired by the company's packaging. The building was designed by Angelo Francis Corva & Associates, Architects.
