Argo Management awarded contract for Roosevelt Terrace

Argo Management, a division of The Argo Corp., a full-service real estate firm based in Manhattan, has expanded its Queens presence with the acquisition of the management contract for Roosevelt Terrace, a four-building residential complex in the Jackson Heights Historic District at 35-11 85th St., 35-31 85th St., 35-50 85th St. and 35-51 85th St. Built in 1952, the 436-apartment cooperative corporation is situated on a park-like campus and features such desirable amenities as three underground parking garages, children's playground and ample storage facilities in each building. The apartments range in size from studios through three-bedrooms, each with outdoor terraces. Argo Management is providing an on-site management associate to oversee the 11-member building staff. Roosevelt Terrace will be the sixth cooperative corporation managed by Argo in Jackson Heights. "Roosevelt Terrace is a wonderful co-op community with a strong and pro-active board," said Lynn Whiting, director of management. "Our goal is to bring building operations up to optimal levels and ensure these buildings are the best they can be."
