AECOM appoints Leonetti as senior vice president

AECOM has appointed Robert Leonetti as senior vice president, alternative delivery leader, design and consulting services, Americas. In this role, Leonetti will be responsible for relationship management with teaming partners, staff development and leveraging the full capabilities of AECOM in leading the growth of the business segment. "We are looking forward to leveraging Bob's extensive experience with public-private partnerships, design-build and hard-bid opportunities to achieve AECOM's growth goals in the alternative delivery business," said Matthew Cummings, AECOM executive vice president and transportation business line executive, design and consulting services, Americas. "Bob has a solid history of growing businesses by focusing on winning large infrastructure and heavy civil construction projects, and we are delighted to welcome him to AECOM." Prior to joining AECOM, Leonetti most recently served as vice president and director, business development and marketing, at Granite Construction, Inc., where he was responsible for directing lead generation and marketing efforts for business units and subsidiaries nationwide. Leonetti's 35-year career includes experience in corporate business development strategy initiatives, merger and acquisition market analyses, marketing campaigns and government and public relations activities. Previous roles included vice president of business development and marketing at Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc., deputy manager of the transportation division at URS Corporation and acting commissioner/deputy commissioner of public works for the City of Yonkers, New York. Leonetti is based at AECOM's Third Avenue office in New York City.
