2021 Ones to Watch: Daniel Aminov, Alpha Realty

Name: Daniel Aminov

Title: Associate

Company Name: Alpha Realty

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?
A project I am most proud of is a Boerum Hill package that we recently sold for a record price per s/f in the Boerum Hill submarket. The reason being is because of how I managed to get the deal. I believe that our lives are determined by our opportunities, even the ones we miss or lose. I canvassed this package through a deal that I ended up losing. I managed to seize the opportunity, lock up an exclusive agreement, and since then our office has brought in 20 offers and we managed to exceed the seller’s expectations.

Who was/is your mentor and how did s/he influence/help you in your career?
My mentor would have to be the power broker himself, Lev Mavashev. He is a huge inspiration to me as he leads by example, which makes learning easy and enjoyable. Having the opportunity to learn from Lev has made a significant difference in my career, which motivates and pushes me to continue on the path to becoming a power broker and being at the top of the CRE industry while building a reputation for myself as a reliable and quality broker.

Top three things on your bucket list:
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” -Michael Jordan
