Q: The approximate number of years you have been a subscriber and/or how the NYREJ has been a benefit to you and/or your business.
A: I have been a subscriber of NYREJ for approximately 11 years. NYREJ has been a great benefit to my business and commercial real estate endeavors, for many of the obvious reasons such as raising the profile of my firm in NY, as well as highlighting some of the transactional successes and professional milestones I have achieved. More importantly to me, however, NYREJ was among the first to provide a real and regular forum highlighting the achievements and activities of women in commercial real estate - not only those few who have already become titans and role models, but the many more who are advancing toward those goals and the organizations encouraging them. NYREJ has played a significant role in advancing women in CRE during its publishing "life", a mission which is near and dear to me.
Q: The approximate year you discovered the NYREJ and what business you were in at the time:
A: I discovered NYREJ approximately 12 years ago, at which point I was already in the commercial real estate field, and a relatively new partner in a law firm.
Q: Your most memorable "15 minutes of fame" in the NYREJ:
A: I have been very fortunate to have had several over the years, but among the ones I found most meaningful were the opportunities I had to provide monthly updates on the programs, goals and progress of NYCREW Network, the 1st New York chapter of CREW Network, as its President, a Board member and other leader - particularly in reporting on its various "DIG This" CREW Careers Programs designed to expose economically disadvantaged young women in New York City to the advantages and opportunities available in commercial real estate.
