2025 Ones to Watch - Rising Stars: Michael Mirman, BEB Capital

Michael Mirman
Associate Asset Manager
BEB Capital

“Mike has become a key member of our firm. Since he started with BEB Capital he has shown an eagerness to take on projects and expand his role in the firm. He started out as and FP&A analyst but now has taken on multiple roles in the firm working in Asset Management, Acquisitions, and with our Lending division. He is always willing to assist on projects that pop up and produces high quality work. He is a great team member.” - Tom Burns, Chief Financial Officer. BEB Capital.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I have been involved with several of BEB Capital’s recent sale transactions, most notably a property in North Carolina that was leased to a national tenant, Iron Mountain. The sale included a lease buyout, as Iron Mountain’s lease was set to run through January 2027. This property was part of a three-building portfolio that we have now exited, all of which were previously leased to Iron Mountain. I have also been serving on BEB Capital’s PropTech committee, where I help evaluate emerging technologies and companies in the commercial real estate technology space.

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? A challenge that I faced early in my career was adapting to the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of commercial real estate. I overcame this by staying proactive - I dove deep into market research, underwriting models and asked key questions during deal reviews. These habits helped immensely and enabled me to grow into a more confident, strategic professional.
