“David is a formidable litigator with an impressive track record navigating tremendously complex cases. Throughout his career, he’s represented notable clients across the real estate industry, doing so with professionalism, dedication and an unmatched warmth towards clients, even amid the most stressful, high-stakes matters.” - Jennifer Recine, Partner, Trial and Global Disputes, at King & Spalding.
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? As a litigator, I consistently take on high-stakes cases that demand creative problem-solving. Recently, a new action was commenced against one of my clients seeking the release of a litigation escrow that was meant to cover the clients’ expenses in a separate ongoing litigation. Rather than litigating the new action and continuing the fight in the ongoing case, I formulated a strategy in which we would settle both cases simultaneously, all from escrowed funds. I was able to reach settlements with both counterparties, ending two litigations against the client for no money out of pocket.
