Chair
CoreNet New York City

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2024?

In 2024, CoreNet NYC strengthened its commitment to supporting and expanding the network of XBE firms through their XBE Sponsorship iniative. The program encourages CoreNet sponsors to support an XBE firm by purchasing a sponsorship on their behalf, giving them access to all the benefits of CoreNet NYC. The initiative offers smaller companies and start-ups the chance to meet where companies are and expand their network, gain industry insights, and create new business opportunities. By fostering connections and providing resources, the XBE Sponsorship program aligns with CoreNet NYC’s dedication to diversifying the real estate industry and the organizations within it.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2025?

In 2025, New York’s real estate landscape will be driven by major projects and ongoing developments in key corridors like Park Ave. The conversation around converting buildings, particularly class C assets, into residential spaces will intensify, fueled by the return-to-office initiatives. As more people come back to office, the demand for housing, jobs, and office space will increase, driving significant development across the city. This cycle of growth will continue reshaping the city’s real estate market as landlords adapt to meet evolving needs.
