What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of?

I am most proud of advising my industry-leading clients on their headquarter leases, including Blackstone’s lease extension and footprint expansion to 1.06m s/f at 345 Park Ave. and Christie’s 25-year lease extension at Rockefeller Center. Additionally, I advised Weill Cornell Medicine on their lease agreements at 1334 York Ave., which is for a new medical research center, and at 575 Lexington Ave. for a lease extension and expansion for a state-of-the art clinical practice. These transactions will continue to ensure that New York City remains a leading center in the arts, sciences and financial sector.

What are the most important factors young women should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with?

It’s important to join an organization with a proven track record of supporting women. Look for a firm where women have advanced in their careers to senior positions and are leading important transactions for the firm’s top clients. Consider firms that have active mentorship programs through which young women can be mentored how to succeed both generally in the industry but also how to overcome the unique challenges that women face. I found all of these things at Fried Frank and continue to pay it forward to young women lawyers behind me.

Building an empire of trusted relationships: The vision and impact of IREON - by Steven Kirschner

After spending decades investing time and money without a justifiable return, I wanted to create a business development organization consisting of friends who did not compete in business.
