2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Jason Mink, Olive Tree Holdings

Jason Mink
Acquisitions Senior Associate
Olive Tree Holdings

Number of years at firm: 2.5

One thing on my bucket list: Travel to every continent

When I am not working, I am: Golfing, skiing, playing basketball, traveling, having a nice meal with friends.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? In late 2021, I sourced 745 units off market in Northwest Arkansas. At the time, it was our largest transaction by unit count since the firm’s inception in 2016 and one of the largest transactions in the state of Arkansas to date. This acquisition made us the third largest multifamily owner within the market. The deal has been a major success because shortly after, Northwest Arkansas became one of the hottest investment markets in the U.S. Our timing and execution have set us up for outsized investment returns.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?

“Jason has been an invaluable member of the Olive Tree team during his 2.5 years with the company. He has sourced nearly 4000 units of acquisitions and brought Olive Tree into 4 states where we did not have a prior presence. His warm, easy-going manner masks his relentless drive and pursuit of excellence in everything that he touches.” - Jeff Ehrlich, VP, Acquisitions at Olive Tree Holdings
