What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?
At New York Land, we close major commercial transactions in New York and nationally. Most of these transactions are noteworthy and our clients are the largest national real estate players. Given confidentiality restraints, I can not discuss them specifically.
As President of CREW NY we hosted the CREW Network National Convention attended by over 1500 commercial real estate professionals.
What project, transaction, market trend or product had the greatest impact on your industry this year?
The impending finance regulations and fear of increased interest rates has prompted large commercial refinance transactions.
How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2017?
I intend to utilize the full resources of CREW NY and the CREW Network to capitalize on the important relationships developed and find avenues to increase business referrals.
What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?
The risk to the continued tax benefits under 1031 exchanges may prompt investors to take advantage of the benefits before elimination of the program.
