Simone Development Cos. secures 2,580 s/f for Japanese sushi restaurant ISO and 2,049 s/f for Starbucks Coffee at Boyce Thompson Center

Yonkers, NY According to Simone Development Cos., developer of the Boyce Thompson Center, has completed the following lease transactions: 

• San Cheng Inc. has signed a lease for 2,580 s/f for Japanese sushi restaurant ISO on the plaza level. ISO is the third restaurant to lease space at the center and features a sushi bar and total seating capacity for over 80 patrons. 

“We are absolutely delighted to announce these new retail lease transactions and business openings,” said Guy Leibler, president of Simone Healthcare Development.

• Starbucks Coffee has signed a lease for 2,049 s/f on the plaza level in the south wing of the center’s historic 1086 North Broadway building. Starbucks plans a grand opening of the new location in January. David Scotto and Robin Herko of RM Friedland represented the landlord and Tim McNamara of Sullivan Hayes Companies represented Starbucks.

“The addition of Starbucks, one of the world’s most successful companies, is going to further enhance and animate the Boyce Thompson Center as a destination point for area businesses and the general public,” said Joanna Simone, vice president of leasing and property management operations for Simone, who represented Simone in the lease transaction. “We are very proud to have this iconic brand on our tenant roster.”
