What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? As a structural engineer, I work with developers, architects, construction managers, and other engineers to plan, design, and construct the buildings we live and work in. I have been fortunate in my time at LERA to have worked on a number of exciting New York City projects, such as Four World Trade Center, the Medical Education Center at Columbia University, and Kimmel Pavilion for NYU Langone. I plan continue to develop my career at LERA. In addition to contributing to more awe-inspiring projects, I am also interested in helping LERA grow its expertise with high-performance concrete, especially self-consolidating concrete.
How do you unwind from a busy day? Go off exploring different corners of New York City.

If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead, but not related to you) who would it be and where would you go? Emily Roebling. She is the unsung first female of structural engineering. She became the “construction manager” of the Brooklyn Bridge after her father in law died and her husband fell sick, with zero technical training. I imagine she would have some amazing site stories!
What is your DREAM job? (something other than your current job) Archaeologist or a museum curator.
