Queens, NY According to leading development companies F&T Group and SCG America, the first residential phase of Tangram — the transformative 1.2 million s/f, mixed-use development consisting of groundbreaking retail, office, residential and hotel space in Flushing — is near sellout, with less than 5% of its 192 residences remaining. Inspired by the traditional Chinese dissection puzzle consisting of flat pieces called tans, Tangram will bring a total of 320 residences to Flushing, and will unveil phase two of its residences by the end of the year. The project was designed by Margulies Hoelzli Architecture and engineered by MG Engineering.
“Due to the tremendous success at Tangram House South, which brought to market an elevated housing option never before seen in Flushing, we are planning to roll out sales for Tangram House West earlier than anticipated,” said Helen Lee, executive vice president of F&T Group. “While it will feature a different aesthetic than phase one, it will be just as thoughtfully-designed and provide an equally generous and luxurious lifestyle.”
Located along 39th Ave., Tangram House South includes 33 penthouses with interiors designed by JG Neukomm Architecture. The building is rooted in Asian architecture and philosophy, and paired with Italian influences throughout including Miele appliances, custom-designed Italian cabinetry and European furnishings by Doimo Contract.
Move-ins are scheduled for 2Q 2019.
Sales for the 130-plus residences within Tangram House West are set to launch this winter. Located along College Point Blvd., half of the residences within Tangram House West will have spectacular views of the New York City skyline while the other half will face east, including great Feng Shui energy and quiet garden views.
Poised to be the new epicenter of Downtown Flushing, Queens, Tangram is a full-block site with frontage on 37th Ave., Prince St., 39th Ave. and College Point Blvd. The mixed-use development will also feature a 200-plus key branded lifestyle hotel; 275,000 gross s/f of cutting-edge retail; themed restaurants; a 27,000 s/f culinary food hall and beer garden; a variety of entertainment options including a state-of-the-art 4DX movie theater; and a 12-story commercial tower with 48 office condominium units.
