New York, NY According to Josh Zegen, co-founder and managing member of Madison Realty Capital (MRC), Aryeh Friedman has joined the firm as its new managing director of originations. He will work with the firm’s principals and support the growth initiatives for MRC through the identification and securing of new loan origination opportunities.
“Aryeh is a highly respected professional and his appointment is consistent with our strategy of recruiting only the highest level of talent to the MRC team,” Zegen sAID. “His nearly three decades of experience in commercial real estate finance and loan originations, combined with his strong industry relationships, will further enhance the lending programs we offer to clients.”
Friedman has over 27 years of experience in commercial real estate lending and has provided origination consulting services to some of the largest Fortune 500 Companies and property owners in the United States. Prior to joining MRC, he headed up all Eastern U.S. originations for Romspen Investment Corp., a $2 billion Canada-based real estate debt fund, where he was responsible for more than $500 million of loans representing virtually all property types in states south of New Hampshire. Prior to that he has presided over a high-yield debt fund in partnership with David Lichtenstein of The Lightstone Company and held a similar position as the East Coast representative for JDI Realty of Chicago.
He is a graduate of Yeshiva University and holds a Masters in Real Estate from New York University.
