Manhattan, NY RKF has completed two retail leases totaling 3,874 s/f.
In the first lease, RKF secured the first brick-and-mortar location for Hatch, an online retailer specializing in women’s fashion and pregnancy apparel, at 17 Bleecker St. in NoHo. The new 2,000 s/f store opened in September.
RKF executive vice president Beth Rosen, senior managing director Marc Finkel and associate Pierce Thompson represented Hatch.
Located on the north block between Lafayette St. and Bowery, 17 Bleecker St. is a pre-war building built in 1920, situated near many of the neighborhood’s cafes, boutiques and hotels. Hatch’s new space includes 1,000 s/f on the ground floor and 1,000 s/f on the lower level.
“Hatch was drawn to Bleecker St. because it fits the neighborhood aesthetic—and will benefit from its appealing retail neighbors as well as robust traffic from both residents and visitors,” said Finkel.
In the second deal, RKF arranged a 1,874 s/f lease with John Fluevog Shoes, an independent designer and retailer of forward-thinking footwear and accessories. The store is set to open at 37 Main St. in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood in the fall. This will be the brand’s second location in New York City, complementing its Nolita store.
RKF managing director David Abrams and director Eddie Mamiye represented John Fluevog Shoes, while Two Trees Management was represented in-house.
