Manhattan, NY The Worldwide Retail Marketing, Leasing and Sales Team of Faith Hope Consolo at Douglas Elliman arranged the lease of retail space for Dorothy’s Petcare at 421 Manhattan Ave., in The Park Manhattan Condominium, on the southwest corner of 118th St., in South Harlem.
In March, the Worldwide Leasing Team sold the adjacent commercial space, at 411 Manhattan Ave., in the same five-story building from 1910, to Nez Bar, a unique tapas and wine bar.
Dorothy’s Petcare is New York City’s premier dog walking, sitting, grooming and boarding service. The company started in 1996, operating by phone, Internet and email; this retail location will be its first physical office.
Next to the Columbia University Campus and steps from Harlem’s Restaurant Row, the classic limestone building stretches the entire block of Manhattan Ave., with three separate building entrances alongside the retail.
The Worldwide Retail Team of Faith Hope Consolo at Douglas Elliman exclusively represented both sides.
“Retailers are addressing the needs of this growing section of Harlem,” said The Worldwide Leasing Team’s Arthur Maglio. “Amenities like Dorothy’s Petcare will anchor the neighborhood and serve the residents, making life seamless for the local community.”
Experts on Upper Manhattan retail, The Worldwide Retail Team has secured space for dozens of retailers and restaurateurs in Harlem and Washington Heights, as well as for major nonprofits and institutions, including the National Jazz Museum, Children’s Aid Society, Food Bank For New York City and the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention.
