According to Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM), Kevin White has joined as a director and head of investment strategy in the Americas for its Alternatives & Real Assets (ARA) business. Based in New York, White reports directly to Mark Roberts, head of research and strategy for the ARA platform.
"We are pleased that Kevin joined our team," said Roberts. "His experience in analyzing economic conditions and determining the implications for real estate markets will enhance our strategic views on the US and support our efforts to deliver on our clients' objectives."
White joins ARA with more than 20 years of experience in macroeconomic and financial analysis. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president in investment strategy & sesearch at American Realty Capital Properties, where he was responsible for developing investment strategies across the firm's owned and managed portfolios. Prior to American Realty Capital Properties, he was a real estate strategist with property & portfolio research, where he worked with large institutional clients to develop investment strategies using the firm's macro and market-level forecasts and research. White was also an economist with International Data Corporation and a tax policy officer with the Department of Finance for the Government of Canada. He earned his BA in Economics from Queen's University and his MA in Economics from the University of British Columbia. White is a CFA charterholder.
