Newmark Knight Frank presented its top performance awards at the company's annual holiday party. "It is a terrific opportunity to recognize the top-performing individuals with these awards," said COO Joseph Rader. "This year, the Aaron Gural Award, which was established in honor of Newmark Knight Frank's founder, goes to senior managing director Ryan Kass, who has been with us for more than eight years."
The Aaron Gural Award is given each year to the broker who is selected by his or her colleagues as exhibiting outstanding contributions in the areas of ethics, teamwork, collaboration and professionalism, and who best represents Newmark Knight Frank.
Executive managing director Lance Korman of the N.Y. headquarters office earned Newmark Knight Frank's Top Producing Broker of the Year award, an honor bestowed by the firm's senior leadership.
Mitch Katz, managing director in the N.J. office and 2012 president of the SIOR N.J. chapter, was named 2011 Industrial Broker of the Year.
Others recognized include Steve Tolkach, a managing principal with Newmark Knight Frank's Princeton, N.J. operations, who was named National Office Broker of the Year. Based in the firm's N.Y. office, executive managing director Jason Pruger was recognized as the company's Retail Broker of the Year, his fourth consecutive win and fifth honor in the last six years, and senior managing director Jennifer Schwartzman was named Capital Group Broker of the Year.
Also for 2011, Newmark Knight Frank recognized director Kyle Ciminelli as N.Y. Rising Star and managing director Greg Frankovich (of the firm's Los Angeles office) as Regional Office Rising Star.
Natalie Donofrio, a director with Newmark Knight Frank Global Corp. Services, Fenil Manani, network technician, and Zack Schnoll, property management transaction analyst, earned Employee of the Year awards.
In special recognition of their 25 years of dedicated service, vice chairman Brian Waterman, executive VP William Cohen, managing director William Mendelson and office services receptionist Robin Jones were honored for their continued commitment to Newmark Knight Frank.
