Outside the Region: AmTrust Title appoints Casson Midwest vice president/agency manager

Grand Rapids, MI According to AmTrust Title Insurance Co., James Casson has joined the company as vice president/agency manager covering the Midwest.

Casson brings to his new position decades of sales, service and management leadership in the title insurance sector, with considerable experience throughout the Midwest and Central Plains.

“Jim Casson is representative of the work ethic, professional focus and commitment to client service that defines our company,” said Jason Gordon, president, AmTrust Title. “There is a reason why he is so respected throughout our industry and we are fortunate to have him join us as a senior executive.”

Senior executive vice president of AmTrust Title, Steve Napolitano, said, “In Jim Casson you find a determined client-driven focus that is our standard at AmTrust Title.  We are enthusiastic about his appointment and look forward to his efforts throughout the Midwest.”

Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Casson was vice president and regional agency manager for First American Title Insurance Co. where he was responsible for managing some 1,100 agents throughout the nation’s heartland. Typically, his efforts ensured that the firm would consistently lead in gaining regional market share thanks to a strong attention to client service. 

Casson said, “I am delighted to be part of a company whose financial strength, integrity and strategic goals ensure we will meet the needs of clients regardless of the size of their transactions or the complexity of the deal.”

Casson holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University of Chicago.  In addition to participating in professional state land title associations, he has assisted various charitable organizations within Western Michigan.
